At CitizenJar, we take your privacy and data security seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share your personal information when you use our SaaS platform.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information that you provide to us directly, such as when you create an account, upload documents for processing, or contact our support team. This includes your name, email address, company details, and the contents of any compliance documents you submit.
Payments are securely processed by our official Merchant of Record, Paddle.com. We do not store your full raw credit card information on our servers.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the CitizenJar platform.
- Process transactions and send related information, including confirmations and invoices (via Paddle).
- Power our AI features to generate compliance answers specific to your uploaded data.
- Send technical notices, security alerts, and support messages.
3. Data Processing and AI
Your uploaded documents are processed securely to provide our core AI services. We do not grant third-party foundational models (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic) the right to use your proprietary business data to train their public models.
4. Information Sharing
We may share information with essential third-party vendors, consultants, and service providers who need access to such information to carry out work on our behalf (e.g., cloud hosting providers, payment processors like Paddle).
5. Your Choices
You may update, correct, or delete your account information at any time by logging into your account settings. If you wish to delete your account entirely, please contact us.
6. Contact Us
