Wimbledon Warming Up at Halle Open 2024!

The Halle Open, also known as The Terra Wortmann Open, is set to begin on June 17th, serving as a warm-up tournament for the Wimbledon Championships. This ATP 500 series event will see top players compete on grass courts to kickstart the grass season.

Notable absences include Carlos Alcaraz, Alex di Minaur, and Novak Djokovic due to injury. Eyes will be on Janik Sinner, the world’s number-one player, as he aims for another title in his successful season.

Seeded players like Alexander Zverev, Daniil Medvedev, and Matteo Berretini will also be looking to make their mark on the grass courts. Berretini, known for his performance on grass, will face tough competition from the big names in the tournament.

The Halle Open will take place in Halle, Germany, from June 17th to 24th. The event features a strong lineup of seeded players in the men’s singles draw, with Jannik Sinner taking the top seed.

Indian players will be represented in the doubles draw, with Yuki Bhambri and Albano Olivetti making it to the main draw after winning the qualifying rounds.
