Tamil Nadu Government Honors 100% Tamil Achievers in +12 Exams

Tamil Nadu Government recently made an important announcement regarding students who scored 100 percent marks in Tamil in public examinations. The results for the 10th and 12th standard public exams for the academic year 2023-24 were released a few days ago, showcasing an abundance of successful students. In a bid to celebrate the exceptional achievement of students who scored a perfect 100 percent in Tamil, the government has organized a felicitation ceremony.

The state government emphasized that schools are not just a symbol of poverty but a beacon of pride. This sentiment was echoed through the outstanding performances of students who excelled in the 10th and 12th standard public exams in Tamil. Notably, in the 12th standard exams, 94.56 percent of students secured success, with 91.02 percent in schools. Across various districts in Tamil Nadu, 397 government higher secondary schools have produced students who achieved a remarkable feat by scoring 100 percent in the exams. Additionally, 35 students excelled specifically in Tamil.

Similarly, in the 10th standard exams, a whopping 91.55 percent of students statewide secured success, with 87.90 percent in government schools. A total of 1,364 government higher secondary schools across different districts have students who achieved the milestone of scoring 100 percent in this year’s exams. Moreover, 8 students shone brightly by scoring 100 percent specifically in Tamil. This achievement marks a significant milestone in the state’s education history.

The credit for these numerous successes can be attributed to the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, M.K. Stalin’s initiatives in educational development, coupled with the dedication and hard work of students. The state government’s schemes such as the Chief Minister’s Nutritious Meal Scheme, New Maiden Scheme, Tamil Nadu First Policy, Headmaster K.Anbazhagan’s School Improvement Plan, I Am the Prime Minister Plan, and Our School Our Village Plan have contributed significantly to the academic growth of students.

Furthermore, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin’s initiative to bear the education costs of 28,601 students who joined colleges through the 7.5 percent reservation quota highlights the government’s commitment to education. Celebrating the success of students who scored 100 percent in the public exams, the government plans to organize a grand felicitation ceremony in Chennai, honoring the principals of top government higher secondary schools, as well as all students who excelled in Tamil. This event is set to take place soon in Chennai under the government’s supervision.
