Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6: Less Crease, New Camera Design

Samsung is gearing up to unveil the much-anticipated Galaxy Z Fold 6 in July, alongside the Galaxy Z Flip 6. As the launch date draws near, a new render of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 has surfaced online, giving us a glimpse of what to expect from the book-style foldable phone this year.

One of the most notable changes in the design of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 is the less visible crease on the internal display. According to tipster Ice Universe, who spoke to testers, the crease on the Galaxy Z Fold 6’s screen will be significantly less noticeable compared to its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Fold 5. While the creases won’t be completely eliminated, they will be reduced, possibly by using a thicker form of ultra-thin glass.

In addition to the improved crease, the latest leak also reveals a redesigned camera island on the Galaxy Z Fold 6. A close-up shot of one of the lenses shows a ring with a metal rail and grooved texture, marking a departure from Samsung’s previous camera design. This change hints at better cameras on the upcoming phone, rumored to surpass even the Galaxy S24.

The Galaxy Z Fold 6, with the model number SM-F956U, was recently spotted on Geekbench with impressive specs, including a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Mobile Platform, Android 14 OS, and 10GB of RAM. The phone is expected to feature a titanium frame and come in three color options: dark blue, light pink, and silver. It is rumored to house a 4,400mAh battery with 25W charging support.

Rumors suggest that Samsung will announce the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 on July 10, making fans eagerly anticipate the official unveiling of these highly anticipated foldable phones.

With these exciting updates and improvements, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 is shaping up to be a game-changer in the world of foldable phones. Stay tuned for more information as the launch date approaches, and get ready to experience the future of mobile technology with Samsung’s latest offerings.
