Notably, the recycled batteries from Cylib’s facility are expected to be utilized by Porsche, one of the startup’s key investors. This collaboration underscores the strategic partnerships that Cylib has established as it works towards industrializing the recycling process and forming commercial relationships.

Battery recycling is a top priority for the European Union, aligning with its efforts to promote sustainable battery development for the electric vehicle transition. Founded in 2022, Cylib utilizes innovative water-based recovery techniques to repurpose materials from spent batteries, contributing to a more sustainable future.
