In a heartwarming rescue operation by Wildlife SOS Rapid Response, a one-year-old monkey was saved from the Prime Minister’s residence on Lok Kalyan Marg after falling ill due to the extreme heat. The monkey had succumbed to the scorching temperatures and was in dire need of medical attention. The NGO swiftly responded to the distress call and rushed the monkey to their treatment center for immediate care.

Reported by the Press Trust of India, the monkey was diagnosed by a team of veterinarians and treated for dehydration and breathing difficulties caused by the intense heat. Wildlife SOS co-founder and CEO, Kartick Satyanarayan, emphasized the importance of prompt action in such cases, stating that quick intervention is crucial when animals are affected by extreme weather conditions.

Vasim Akram, Director of Special Projects at Wildlife SOS, praised the quick actions taken by the employees of the Prime Minister’s residence in contacting Wildlife SOS for assistance in the monkey’s rescue and treatment.
