Motorola Razr 50 Series and S50 Neo Unveil Date and Specs!

The highly anticipated launch timeline of the Motorola Razr 50 series has finally been revealed by the company. Set to be the successors of the Razr 40 and Razr 40 Ultra, the next generation foldable phones from Lenovo-owned Motorola are expected to be named Motorola Razr 50 and Motorola Razr 50 Ultra. Additionally, the Motorola S50 Neo will also be unveiled alongside these new devices on June 25.

The announcement was made via a post on Weibo, the Chinese microblogging platform, confirming that the launch event will take place on June 25 at 2pm local time. The phones are teased to come with advanced AI features similar to recent flagships.

Starting with the Motorola S50 Neo, the phone is listed on Lenovo’s website in China. It features a curved OLED display with a hole punch cutout for the selfie shooter, and will be available in black, blue, and green color options. The highlight specs include a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS, a 5,000mAh battery, and a slim 7.59mm profile.

Moving on to the Motorola Razr 50 series, the standard Razr 50 was recently spotted on Geekbench with a MediaTek Dimensity 7300X chipset, 8GB of RAM, and Android 14. Expected features include a 4,200mAh battery with 33W fast charging, a 6.9-inch pOLED inner display with 120Hz refresh rate, a 3.6-inch OLED cover screen, and a dual rear camera setup.

On the other hand, the Motorola Razr 50 Ultra is rumored to run on the powerful Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset. It is said to sport a 6.9-inch main OLED screen and a 2-inch cover screen, along with 50-megapixel dual rear cameras and a 4,000mAh battery with 68W wired charging support.
