Mito to Adapt Akira Shikimi’s Novel into Manga
Exciting news for manga fans as Mito is set to launch a manga adaptation of Akira Shikimi’s novel, ‘Seijin Koshaku-sama ga Last Boss da to Iu Koto o Watashi dake ga Shitteiru,’ on Takeshobo’s Story Dash website. The exact release date has not been revealed yet.
The original story was serialized on the Shosetsuka ni Narou website from October to December 2022. Overlap published the first volume in print in September 2023, with the second volume scheduled for release on June 25. The novel features illustrations by Mai Ouka.
Furthermore, Seven Seas Entertainment has licensed and released all three volumes of Mito’s ‘Manly Appetites: Minegishi Loves Otsu’ manga in English. They have also done the same for the manga adaptation of Shikimi’s ‘The Dragon King’s Imperial Wrath’ novels, with illustrations by Akiko Kawano.
