Leonora Arc Takes Center Stage in Unnamed Memory Anime Video




Kadokawa recently released a new promotional video for the anime adaptation of Kuji Furumiya’s light novel series, “Unnamed Memory.” The video showcases the character Leonora, a witch voiced by Chiwa Saito, who takes center stage in the new “Leonora Arc.”

The anime premiered on April 9 and can be streamed on Crunchyroll. Directed by Kazuya Miura and produced by ENGI, the series features Deko Akao as the scriptwriter and Chika Nōmi adapting the original character designs by chibi for animation. Akito Matsuda is in charge of the music composition.

Yen Press is responsible for releasing both the light novel series and its manga adaptation in English. The story follows Oscar, the prince of Farsas, who seeks to break a curse preventing him from siring an heir by asking the powerful witch Tinasha to become his bride.

The light novel series began serialization in 2012, with Kadokawa publishing the printed version in 2019. The novels topped the charts in the 2020 edition of “Kono Light Novel ga Sugoi!” guidebook. A manga adaptation by Naoki Koshimizu started in Kadokawa’s Monthly Comic Dengeki Daioh magazine in 2020.
