Lava Yuva 5G Teaser Unveiled, Specs Leak on Geekbench

Lava has recently unveiled a teaser for its upcoming smartphone release in India, hinting that it may be named the Lava Yuva 5G. The teaser video gives us a sneak peek at the design of the phone and confirms some key camera features. While the exact launch date remains undisclosed, speculations suggest that the Yuva 5G might hit the market in the upcoming weeks. Interestingly, leaked images of the Lava Yuva 4 Pro 5G surfaced earlier this year, leading to speculation that it could actually be the same device as the Lava Yuva 5G.

The teaser video posted by Lava Mobiles on social media showcases a smartphone with the text “#Yuva5G – Coming Soon!”. This device will mark the brand’s first foray into the world of 5G with its Yuva series. Although the company hasn’t revealed the full specifications yet, the teaser video hints at a boxy design with the Lava branding and 5G text displayed vertically. The phone features a circular camera module in the center, housing a dual rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor, accompanied by an LED flash.

While official details are scarce, a Geekbench listing recently surfaced with the model number LAVA LXX513, believed to be the Lava Yuva 5G. The listing hints that the phone will run on Android 14 and come in 6GB and 8GB RAM variants. Additionally, it suggests an octa-core processor with two cores running at 2.4GHz and six cores at 2.0GHz, which points to a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 or Dimensity 6080 processor. The phone is expected to feature a 16-megapixel selfie camera on the front and could be priced under Rs. 10,000.
