Kisan Samman Nidhi Demand: Push for 12K in Budget

The much-anticipated budget of the Modi government’s third term is set to be presented in parliament today, marking the first budget after the formation of the new government. The budget is expected to bring good news for entrepreneurs, businesses, financial advisors, and farmers. Changes in GST for entrepreneurs, freehold plots for industries, and more are eagerly awaited.

Amidst all this, the common people are demanding an increase in the income tax exemption limit from seven to at least ten lakhs. Teachers and state employees are hoping for the government to announce the reinstatement of the old pension scheme during the budget session.

Farmers are hoping for an increase in the amount of the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi from 6000 to 12000 rupees annually. Entrepreneurs, businessmen, financial advisors, and farmers have high expectations from the central budget. The middle class is also hoping for measures to control inflation in the budget.

Businessman Manoj Gupta from Rikabganj pointed out that simplification of GST is necessary as there are still many issues related to it. The government should make efforts to create a business-friendly environment. Small and medium-sized businesses face many challenges. This time, businessmen have several expectations from the budget. They expect tax exemptions and a reduction in the interest rates on loans.

“Hope for increasing the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi to 12 thousand rupees”

Farmer Balram Tiwari said, “Farmers have many expectations from the government. They should receive an increase in subsidies on fertilizers and seeds. Subsidies of up to 50% should also be given on farming-related equipment. The Samman Nidhi should be increased from 6000 to 12 thousand rupees annually. There should be a formation of a Farmers’ Commission. Farmers’ children should receive reservations in education and employment.”

As the budget session commences, all eyes are on the announcements and measures that the government will introduce to boost the economy and address the concerns of various sectors. Stay tuned for the latest updates and analysis on the budget session.
