The upcoming live-action series of Yuki Fumino’s I Hear the Sunspot manga has unveiled new cast members and a fresh visual ahead of its premiere. The series will feature Motoki Nakazawa as Kōhei Sugihara and Toranosuke Kobayashi as Taichi Sagawa. Joining the cast are Takuma Usa as Tomoki Yokoyama, Omi Natsuki as Tetsu Yasuda, Naomi Nishida as Ryōko Sugihara, and Denden as Genji Sagawa.

The series is set to debut on June 26 on U-NEXT, followed by a broadcast television release on July 3. With Fūga Yaegashi, Shō Makino, and Takanobu Harashima directing episodes, and Izumi Kawasaki writing the scripts, fans can expect an exciting adaptation of the beloved manga.

I Hear the Sunspot follows the story of Kōhei, who struggles to integrate on campus due to his hearing disability, until he meets the lively Taichi. Their unique relationship changes Kōhei forever, transcending the boundaries of friendship and romance.
