CM Yogi Adityanath hails Modi’s efforts to uplift farmers

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for putting farmers at the center of the country’s political agenda for the first time since independence in 2014. Speaking at a PM Kisan Samman Sammelan, Adityanath highlighted the various schemes launched by the Modi government to improve the livelihoods of farmers, such as the Soil Health Card and Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi. He emphasized that the positive results of these initiatives are now visible across the country.

“When Prime Minister Modi began his third term, his first priority was to prioritize the welfare of farmers. Today, millions of farmers are benefiting from the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme,” Adityanath stated.

The chief minister commended Modi for his dedication to bringing about significant changes in the lives of all sections of society, which led to his reelection for a third consecutive term. Adityanath described Modi as the “illustrious son of maa Ganga,” crediting him for elevating India’s global standing through his tireless efforts.

He also praised the transformation of Varanasi, noting the substantial investments made in rejuvenating the city over the past decade. Adityanath highlighted how Varanasi has evolved into a modern hub while maintaining its cultural heritage and significance.

Several dignitaries, including UP Governor Anandiben Patel, Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, and Deputy Chief Ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak, attended the event alongside Adityanath and Modi. The gathering served as a platform to acknowledge the government’s commitment to supporting farmers and uplifting rural communities.
