Capture Pro Videos on iPhone: Final Cut Camera App Now Available!

Apple has finally released its much-anticipated Final Cut Camera app on the App Store, following its announcement back in May. The app, unveiled during the Let Loose event, is now available for download, providing iPhone users with professional camera controls and editing tools right on their mobile devices.

But what exactly does the Final Cut Camera app offer? According to Apple’s Newsroom, the app is described as an “all-new video capture app” that allows creators to wirelessly connect and remotely direct each video angle. This marks the first time Apple is offering such professional camera controls on the iPhone through a first-party app. With settings like shutter speed, ISO, white balance, and manual focus, users now have more control over their video capture experience.

Additionally, Final Cut Camera can function as a standalone professional video capture app on both the iPhone and iPad. Users can start a Live Multicam session by connecting up to four devices running the app, enabling them to remotely preview, record, and sync video angles in Final Cut Pro for iPad.

Some of the features included in the app are ratio guides and grid overlays for shot composition, zebra indicators for exposure, focus peaking for precise camera focus, and different color and dynamic range options like SDR, HDR, and Log. Users can also choose from various resolutions and refresh rates, ensuring flexibility in their video capture settings.

To enhance the quality of shots, Final Cut Camera offers stabilization within the app to reduce shakiness and movement. Users can select from different focal lengths for shooting, with options like 13mm, 24mm, and 77mm available for the iPhone 15 Pro model.

In addition to the Final Cut Camera app for iPhone, Apple has also launched Final Cut Pro for iPad with the Live MultiCam feature. Existing users can access the app for free, while new users can subscribe starting at Rs. 499 per month.

With these new releases, Apple is continuing to expand its offerings for creators and videographers, providing innovative tools to enhance their video production capabilities. The Final Cut Camera app is now live on the App Store for iPhone Xs and later models running iOS 17.4 or later, giving users easier access to professional camera controls and editing tools on the go.
