Apple Set to Unveil New iPad Mini in 2024!

Apple recently unveiled its latest lineup of iPads at the ‘Let Loose’ event last week, including the new iPad Pro and iPad Air models. While the iPad Mini was not updated this time around, there are speculations that a new iPad Mini could be on the horizon.

According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the tech giant might reveal a new iPad Mini towards the end of this year. Gurman suggests that the new iPad Mini could feature a faster chip but no other major upgrades, potentially replacing the current iPad Mini 2021 model.

The last refresh of the iPad Mini was back in September 2021, powered by the A15 Bionic processor. Rumors indicate that the upcoming seventh-generation iPad Mini could come equipped with an A16 chip and a slightly larger display than its predecessor.

In addition to the iPad Mini, Apple also announced updates to the iPad Air and iPad Pro models at the ‘Let Loose’ event. The new iPad Air now comes in 10.9-inch and 13-inch variants, featuring a Liquid Retina (LCD) screen and running on an octa-core M2 chip. On the other hand, the iPad Pro boasts a ‘Tandem OLED’ screen and is available in 11-inch and 13-inch options, powered by Apple’s M4 chip with up to 2TB of storage capacity.

The pricing for the latest models starts at Rs. 99,900 for the iPad Pro (2024) base model with an 11-inch screen, while the iPad Air (2024) begins at Rs. 59,900 for the 11-inch variant. Additionally, Apple introduced the new Apple Pencil Pro priced at Rs. 11,900 and the updated Magic Keyboard with a starting price tag of Rs. 29,900.

As Apple continues to innovate and expand its iPad lineup, consumers can look forward to more exciting developments, including the potential release of a new iPad Mini later this year. Stay tuned for more updates on Apple’s latest products and enhancements.
