Anime Unveils 3 New Cast Members!

The upcoming television anime adaptation of Kōcha Agasawa’s romantic comedy manga “You and I Are Polar Opposites” has announced three new cast members for the series. The new additions include Yuna Taniguchi as Watanabe, Konatsu Hirabayashi as Sato, and Anji Iwata as Yamada.

The anime, set to premiere in January 2026, will feature Sayumi Suzushiro as Suzuki and Shōgo Sakata as Tani. The series will be streamed by Crunchyroll as it airs.

Directed by Takakazu Nagatomo at Lapin Track, the anime boasts a talented team including Teruko Utsumi as the scriptwriter and animation producer, Mako Miyako as the character designer, and tofubeats as the composer.

The story follows Suzuki, an energetic girl who is drawn to Tani, a quiet boy with a strong voice. The manga, originally launched as a one-shot in January 2021, has garnered over 1.45 million copies in circulation and received recognition at the Manga Taisho Awards.

With an intriguing storyline and a talented cast and crew, “You and I Are Polar Opposites” promises to be a must-watch romantic comedy anime for fans of the genre.
