Samsung Galaxy Watch FE: Price & Colors Leak Before Launch

Samsung is gearing up to launch its latest smartwatch, the Galaxy Watch FE, at an upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event. The rumoured smartwatch has now appeared on an ecommerce website, revealing its potential price and colour options. Could the Galaxy Watch FE be the affordable smartwatch model we’ve been waiting for?

Rumours suggest that the Galaxy Watch FE will be unveiled alongside the Galaxy Watch 7 series as a budget-friendly alternative. It is said to be a refreshed version of the Galaxy Watch 4, which hit the market in August 2021.

According to reports, the Galaxy Watch FE was briefly listed on Amazon Italy’s website in three colour options: Black, Pink Gold, and Silver. The price tag for this upcoming smartwatch is set at EUR 199 (approximately Rs. 17,900). It will come in a single 40mm variant, offering customers a more affordable alternative to the Galaxy Watch 6 40mm variant, which launched in India at Rs. 29,999.

In terms of specifications, the Galaxy Watch FE is expected to feature a 1.2-inch Super AMOLED screen with a 396x396p resolution. It will be powered by Samsung’s Exynos W920 chipset, paired with 1.5GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The smartwatch is likely to run on Wear OS-based One UI Watch 5 out-of-the-box.

Reports also indicate that the Galaxy Watch FE will boast a 247mAh battery, providing up to 30 hours of battery life. It will sport an aluminium chassis and carry an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. The smartwatch will offer connectivity options such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5, NFC, and GPS.

Additionally, the Galaxy Watch FE is expected to come equipped with sensors including an accelerometer, barometer, gyroscope, and geomagnetic sensors.
