Simone Biles, the four-time Olympic gold medalist, is gearing up for the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris with big dreams in her heart. In a recent post on her Instagram Stories, Biles shared side-by-side photos of herself performing a skill on the balance beam. The caption read, “Doing it for her. Small girl, big dreams.”

The photos show Biles suspended in midair above the beam, legs spread in a split and arms out wide. In one photo, she is older, wearing a red, white, and blue leotard, potentially representing Team USA at a previous Olympics. In the other photo, a younger Biles is captured performing the same skill in a black, purple, and green leotard.

Biles will kick off her Olympic journey in Paris as the women’s gymnastics qualifying rounds begin. After a challenging time at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, where she withdrew from some events due to the “twisties,” Biles is determined to make a strong comeback in Paris.
