The upcoming anime “Kinnikuman: Perfect Origin Hen” has recently announced another cast member, Akira Kawashima, who will voice Big the Budo and Neptune King in the series. The anime is set to premiere on July 7 on various networks, with episode 0 featuring new animation alongside older scenes.
The story follows Prince Kinnikuman, who is ridiculed by humans as a useless Chojin but proves himself in the Chojin World Cup tournament. With the power of friendship, he fights against Akuma Chojin and Perfect Chojin to protect the peace of the universe.

Toy figures of “Kinnikuman” were popular in the United States in the 1980s under the name “M.U.S.C.L.E.” Viz Media also released the sequel manga “Kinnikuman Nisei – Second Generations” as “Ultimate Muscle: The Kinnikuman Legacy,” with an anime adaptation broadcast by 4Kids Entertainment.
